Area of Focus

Trauma Therapy

I offer trauma-informed virtual psychotherapy for adults in Ontario, carefully paced around what feels manageable and supportive for you.

I approach trauma work carefully and collaboratively, pacing our sessions around what actually feels manageable for you rather than pushing you faster than feels safe.

Whether you are processing a single distressing experience or living with the effects of something ongoing or repeated, I will work with you in a way that respects your boundaries, your responses, and your individual pace.

How I work with trauma in our sessions

In our work together, I may invite you to notice what is happening not only in your thoughts and emotions, but also in your body.

Depending on what feels useful for you, we may gently explore sensations, triggers, patterns, or a felt sense alongside more traditional talk-based processing.

I will not assume that one approach is right for everyone. I will adapt how we work together according to what you are experiencing and what feels most supportive in the moment.

How I understand trauma, grief, and life transitions

In my work, I often see grief, major transitions, and traumatic experiences overlap rather than appearing as separate and tidy categories.

I make room for that complexity. We do not need to force your experience into a single label before we can begin understanding how it has affected you and what you need moving forward.

Free 15-minute consultation

Let’s start with a conversation.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Complete this short form to request a free 15-minute consultation, and I’ll follow up so you can tell me a little about what is bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

Use digits and standard phone punctuation such as +, spaces, parentheses, periods, or hyphens.

You can briefly share what is bringing you to therapy and let me know whether you would prefer that I contact you by phone or email.

Please avoid including highly sensitive medical or personal information in this initial form.

Submitting this form does not create a therapist-client relationship with me. I can discuss my current availability and whether my services may be a good fit with you during our initial contact.

Practice Notice: While digital resources are openly accessible, I conduct all active psychotherapeutic sessions, intakes, and consultations strictly in English.
